AK Interactive – Trainspotting – Book

If trains and railway modelling are your passion or you just love quality scale modelling you can’t miss this book with the usual AK’s quality display plus Marklin’s input. The book is structured in three main blocks. The first part contains the different techniques and materials we have at our disposal in order to be able to represent as many different effects as it is necessary.
The second block walks us through a greatly visual and detailed description of the different processes and materials involved in representing these effects on different types of locomotives and wagons. A variety of techniques and work carried out by some of the best European and American modelers.
On the third section we will see how to weather railway buildings and rail station structures and their elements. This goes together with a chapter full of real reference pictures of trains from around the world that will really delight the reader and push many to start with the hobby.

We ship all items via Australia Post Mail. Customers in the Australia will generally receive packages by Australia Post tracked Mail.

Postage is calculated into 3 distinct weight AND volume categories being small, medium and large. Delivery confirmation/tracking is included with all domestic orders. You will receive an e-mail with the information when your order ships. It will also be noted on your order.

If you wish to use another method / carrier (FedEx/UPS/DHL), please choose “offline order” at checkout and contact us to work out the details. Please note that we do not have FedEx, DHL or UPS accounts and there will be an extra charge if we have to drive to the nearest office to ship the package. We will, however, gladly bill the freight to your account and call for a pickup.

Regardless of shipping method, we will ship to the address you list on your order in our system. Please ensure that the address listed on the order as “Ship-to” is where you want the order to be sent.
