Vallejo – RAF Colors Bomber & Training Air Command 1939-1945

Set of 8 Model Air colors in 17 ml. for painting all the bombers (light, medium and heavy) of the Bomber Air Command of the RAF from 1939 until the end of WWII. This set also includes “Trainer Yellow” which, combined with the other colors or by itself, can be used for most of the training aircraft and prototypes.

Dark Earth (BS 450): Color for upper surface, combined with Dark Green (Temperate Land Scheme), from 1939 until the end of the war, for Bombers in day and night time missions. Dark Green (BS 241): Color for upper surface, combined with Dark Earth (Temperate Land Scheme) o Medium Sea Grey (“Mosquito Bombers”), from 1939 until the end of the war. Day and night time Bombers. Night Black (BS 642): Color for the lower surface of night-bombers, combined with Dark Earth/Dark Green on the upper surface (Temperate Land Scheme). From 1939 until the end of the war. Medium Sea Grey (BS 637): Color for the lower and upper surface of “Mosquito” bombers 1944-45, combined with Dark Green. Also used for numbers and codes. Sky Type S (BS 210): Color for the lower surface, combined with Dark Earth/Dark Green (Temperate Land Scheme) and for the upper surface, from 1939 until the end of the war. Also used for numbers, codes and fuselage stripes. Trainer Yellow (BS 356): Color for lower surface or entire aircraft (1942-1945), for training aircraft, aircraft for liaison and tug targets (striped with Night Black), combined with Dark Earth/Dark Green (Temperate Land Scheme) on the upper surface starting 1939 until the end of the war. Also for numbers, codes and fuselage stripes. Interior Grey-Green (BS 283): Interior color, mostly used for interior structures, cockpits and crew areas of all types of RAF and FAA aircraft. Interior Grey-Green (FS 34373): Variation of the interior color BS 283, mostly used in interior structures, cockpits and crew areas of all types of RAF and FAA aircraft.

We ship all items via Australia Post Mail. Customers in the Australia will generally receive packages by Australia Post tracked Mail.

Postage is calculated into 3 distinct weight AND volume categories being small, medium and large. Delivery confirmation/tracking is included with all domestic orders. You will receive an e-mail with the information when your order ships. It will also be noted on your order.

If you wish to use another method / carrier (FedEx/UPS/DHL), please choose “offline order” at checkout and contact us to work out the details. Please note that we do not have FedEx, DHL or UPS accounts and there will be an extra charge if we have to drive to the nearest office to ship the package. We will, however, gladly bill the freight to your account and call for a pickup.
