1/48 Scale – Barracuda – Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 Fishbed – Radome Upgrade Set
Designed for the superb Eduard MiG-21 series. The kit radome is accurate and well molded. The problem is that you have to paint and install it before you assemble the fuselage halves. Our separate radome and bulkhead allow you to assemble the fuselage without the radome, which is then installed when the model is almost finished. This will allow you to fill and sand the intake seams, and paint the intake and radome separately. You can also use the intake as a receptacle for a handle that will allow you to hold the model firmly while painting it. It also removes the possibility of damaging the radome point during assembly and painting. Quick and easy… problems solved!
We ship all items via Australia Post Mail. Customers in the Australia will generally receive packages by Australia Post tracked Mail.
Postage is calculated into 3 distinct weight AND volume categories being small, medium and large. Delivery confirmation/tracking is included with all domestic orders. You will receive an e-mail with the information when your order ships. It will also be noted on your order.
If you wish to use another method / carrier (FedEx/UPS/DHL), please choose “offline order” at checkout and contact us to work out the details. Please note that we do not have FedEx, DHL or UPS accounts and there will be an extra charge if we have to drive to the nearest office to ship the package. We will, however, gladly bill the freight to your account and call for a pickup.
Regardless of shipping method, we will ship to the address you list on your order in our system. Please ensure that the address listed on the order as “Ship-to” is where you want the order to be sent.
