1/48 Scale – Furball Aero-Design – Gunfighter Phantoms – Part One

covers 11 1/48 F-4C/Ds of the 35^th and 366^th Tactical Fighter Wings while based at Da Nang Air Base between 1967-1971. Sized for the Academy kit; enough stencils and data are included to build two complete models. Additionally, 2 sets of markings for the SUU-23/A gun pod are included. Here’s a rundown of the Phantoms that are covered:

F-4D 66-8775 “CO” 366^th TFW, 480 TFS. Features “The Saint” nose art and Wing Commander’s fuselage bands.

F-4D 66-8820 “AW” 366^th TFW, 389^th TFS. Features “Gunfighter I” nose art and Wing Commander’s Fuselage bands.

F-4D 66-7696 “BB” 366^th TFW, 390^th TFS. Features “The Blue Max” nose art along with Squadron Commander’s fuselage bands.

F-4D 66-7707 “AL” 366^th TFW, 389^th TFS. Features “The Red Baron” nose art along with Squadron Commander’s fuselage bands.

F-4C 64-0806 “CO” 366^th TFW, 480^th TFS. Features a large shamrock on the tail.

F-4C 64-0748 366^th TFW, 389^th TFS. Features a candy-striped rudder.

F-4C 64-0820 “AT” 366^th TFW, 389^th TFS. Carries 3 MIG kill stars on the nose.

We ship all items via Australia Post Mail. Customers in the Australia will generally receive packages by Australia Post tracked Mail.

Postage is calculated into 3 distinct weight AND volume categories being small, medium and large. Delivery confirmation/tracking is included with all domestic orders. You will receive an e-mail with the information when your order ships. It will also be noted on your order.

If you wish to use another method / carrier (FedEx/UPS/DHL), please choose “offline order” at checkout and contact us to work out the details. Please note that we do not have FedEx, DHL or UPS accounts and there will be an extra charge if we have to drive to the nearest office to ship the package. We will, however, gladly bill the freight to your account and call for a pickup.

Regardless of shipping method, we will ship to the address you list on your order in our system. Please ensure that the address listed on the order as “Ship-to” is where you want the order to be sent.
